Brief:

All teams are made of human beings and everyone struggles. So, when a team is facing dysfunctions that prohibit trust and diminish effectiveness, what can they do? This training features not just principles to learn, but immersion exercises to develop skill and trust together! Based on the best-seller by Patrick Lencioni, this training process produces significant results.

Delivery: An initial 2-day offsite, 3 or more follow up team meetings for application and practice, plus 1:1 coaching sessions for each member of the team.

Outcome: Patterns of healthy communication, increased cohesion and effectiveness, developed trust, enhanced response to conflict.

Brief:

Sometimes you just find yourself in a tough conversation at work. Whether you initiated it or it started without warning, how you handle those crucial interactions can make or break trust and results.

How comfortable you are in those situations doesn't matter; being practiced with effective tools and techniques does. In this course based on the book "Crucial Conversations," Dr. Phillip McClure will engage you as he defines important terms and teaches specific techniques.

As you learn these tools, you will also actively practice them in real time so that you're ready for the next tough talk when you leave.

Delivery: A one-day course of 6-8 hours including interactive exercises throughout.

Outcome: Gain of specific repeatable methods, increased confidence for addressing important tense subjects.

Brief:

Everybody knows how to talk, but leveraging 2 minutes to actually learn about a person is a developed skill. This training is fun, interactive, and constantly practiced throughout. Instruction is given in basics of healthy conversation, followed by introduction of a tool that transforms small ‘moments’ into bond-building events. One of McClure Professional Services' most-enjoyed, most often requested training offerings, The Conversation Tool is as effective as it is simple.

Delivery: Minimum of 2 hours, up to 4 hours, depending on size of the group

Outcome: Increased focus, enhanced skill to build relationships, and the joy of creating authentic connections

Brief:

How people treat us either brings out 'more' or 'less'... it either compels us to give our best or causes us to shrink back. The environment leaders create can yield people who just put in their time or who go above and beyond. And when this kind of safety is nurtured in our organization, people stick with us, give more, and help create it for others too!

Delivery: Two versions of this content are available.

The full course is 10-12 hours including important theory, practices, and engaging training for use in the workplace.

An 'overview' version is available for larger groups or conferences that runs 1-2 hours as needed.

Outcome: The course defines the behaviors that create and sustain psychological safety, distinguishes between false consensus and true engagement, and teaches effective practices leaders utilize to establish psychological safety

Brief:

Your best producers are often thrust into leadership roles based on their character and work ethic. That does not automatically mean they are good leaders. This training includes modules on:

Delivery: Varies. But each module is approximately 2 hours and fully interactive. Consultation determines which modules and schedule.

Outcome: More confident leaders equipped with tools and habits to manage and supervise their teams with consistency and improved results.

Brief:

Leaders often oversee important meetings to coordinate efforts and are occasionally tapped to speak. That doesn’t make them automatically good at either. Dr. McClure pulls back the curtain on 30 years of professional speaking and expert facilitation to teach and practice methods, techniques, and even facility setup for increasing genuine engagement of those in the meeting or in the audience. This training includes modules on speaking as well as on conducting excellent and productive gatherings of teams.

Delivery: Interactive seminar (6-8 hours) in 1 or 2 sessions; personalized coaching for particular applications is also available.

Outcome: Increased participation in meetings, developed skills for engaging a crowd, increased confidence, and a batch of tools to utilize.

Brief:

So many supervisors and managers must train new employees but haven’t had the opportunity to understand how to do so effectively. This training features modules on how adults learn, development of training content, instruction and practice in training methods and techniques, and moderated practice sessions with professional feedback for actionable takeaways for each participant.

Delivery: 14-16 hours of training over 2 days.

Outcome: Increased confidence in leaders, immersion in training methods, improved training processes and results for trainees.

Brief:

Safety matters and everyone knows to ‘say something’ if they 'see something'. ‘But…’ People are emotional creatures who often know when they should act, but choose not to act due to a number of relational and psychological reasons. This training features interactive modules identifying the importance of safety, discovering the blockades to action, and establishing methods to train people for honest and worthwhile communication and action which improves leadership, ownership, and safety.

Delivery: Two versions of this content are available

The full course is 7-8 hours training in 6 interactive modules for use in the workplace.

A 2-hour version teaches all key principles, but reduces the interactive elements.

Outcome: Bolder communication, increased safety culture, enhanced respect.
